The college aims to provide opportunities for students in the Wardha district and Maharashtra who wish to pursue careers in research, offering them a platform to conduct innovative research to address specific problems and present these issues to the government through their findings.

This vision was originally articulated by the late Yogeshji Kumbhalkar, who believed in establishing a research center for the benefit of capable and research-oriented students. Carrying forward this vision, the sensitive and diligent Secretary of the institution, Mr. Yugant Kumbhalkar, played a significant role in the establishment of this research center to fulfill the goal of the institution. In keeping with the aim of encouraging research among higher education students, the college has made this opportunity available to students pursuing social work education. After extensive discussions on what name should be given to the research center, the honorable Secretary, in consultation with the principal and head of the center, decided to name the research center after individuals who have made significant contributions to society. This name would inspire the students and motivate them to complete their research with utmost integrity. Consequently, the Higher Education and Research Center at the college has been named the Dr. Kailash Satyarthi Higher Education and Research Center.

Upon the establishment of the center, numerous applications for admission were received. In accordance with the guidelines of the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University for the doctoral program, the college constituted a Research Advisory Committee (RAC) from among the university's appointed members.
